**Requirements**:
- Show initiative and responsibility, be contentious and hardworking, with professional workmanship and appearance.
- Problem solving abilities and a technical background is important.
- Strong written and verbal communication with customer service skills.
- Learn the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and show a desire to ensure installations meet code standards.
- Safety minded, aware of surroundings, quick thinking, customer minded.
- Valid drivers license with clean record.
- O.S.S.D. or equivalent
- May have to work longer hours and occasional Saturdays.
- Working on farms alongside poultry & livestock.
- Working at heights.
**Duties**:
- Responsible for learning to install & service power distribution systems, branch circuits & technical equipment, as well as PLC based controls, on industrial, commercial & agricultural construction projects within southern Ontario.
- Learn to conduct routine maintenance, testing & installations of commercial, industrial & agricultural electrical systems, and ensure installations are to code standards.
- Learn to assess the parts needed for a job and learn to create a bill of material for those parts.
- Learn to diagnose and repair electrical problems.
- Learn to wire electrical systems, such as distribution and lighting systems.
- Be willing to work as part of a team.
- Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, and complies with electrical safety codes.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer any customer questions.
