**Overview**
Award winning Block Kitchen + Bar is looking for a dedicated and reliable part time Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our food service operations. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hospitality setting and are eager to contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests. This position could also lead to a full time dish washing position in the near future

**Duties**
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dish washing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Help cooks and kitchen staff by providing necessary tools and ingredients during busy service periods.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed.
- Stock clean dishes and utensils in their designated places to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
