The House of Commons Parliamentary Precinct Operations is currently looking to staff the Graphic Design and Prepress Officer position.

**Qualifications** Education**:

- College diploma in Graphic Design, Printing, image arts or another related field OR an equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

**Experiences**:

- Experience in the design of innovative visual solutions for various communication productions, not limited to print communications;
- Experience in providing advice on visual design solutions to clients;
- Experience in creating and editing complex documents and transforming them into imposed printable files;
- Experience in print production, pre-press workflows and software;
- Experience in pre-press impositions for web presses and digital;

**Assets**:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Publisher, accessibility design standards;
- Knowledge of proofreading and formatting standards;
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills;
- Knowledge of the principles and requirements of web content and accessibility guidelines;
- Possess planning and organizational skill to effectively deal with multiple demands, conflicting priorities and deadlines.
