DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, the Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining and updating material and customer data, monitoring and ensuring master data quality, and analyzing and improving master data.
Data Cleanup and Improvement
- Maintains SKU accuracy by managing system clean ups. Including slow moving item maintenance and inactive SKUs
- Collaborate with operations, sales, and engineering teams to manage SKU transitions, new item creation and discontinuations to ensure up to date and accurate information is maintained withing the ERP.
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves data issues and areas for data quality improvements.
- Manages revision of graphics design, raw material, packing supplies needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards. This includes new items set up, existing BOM updates.
PDN product discontinuation notice
- Update and clean master data records to rid system of old, unused, or duplicate data for better management and quicker access.
- complete inventory adjustment documentation to manage scrap process for obsolete inventory.
Customer relations
- Operational management of electronic master data exchange with customers
- Update and manage finished good bill of materials for all customers.
- Manage communication and interactions with customers (internal/External) and support CS coordinators. Receive, generate, and process master data according to agreed process time frames.
- Understand customer requirements and opportunities within master data.
Other tasks
- Assist with ERP transition and data migration into new ERP system
- Assist with other department, including finance, planning, engineering, IT etc, regarding master data
- Run customer supply chain projects within master data area.
- Other ad hoc tasks assigned
**Qualifications**:
- 3 or more years of experience in master data role or data analytics
- Relevant academic degree from college/university.
- Experience in LX ERP software is an asset.
- Working in manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Packaging or BOM set up experience is required.
- Good personal computer and business software skills, expert in MS Excel/Access

- Critical to have a good business understanding, preferably from a supply chain perspective.

- Process minded, keen on process development and process control
- Good communication skills to communicate with customers, team members, external data providers and management.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptive, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
