**About us**

The Truck Shop Strathroy, established in April 2012, is a family-owned and operated facility dedicated to providing comprehensive preventative maintenance services. We excel in getting tasks done right the first time and are continually expanding our offerings, which now include a mobile service truck, mobile emissions testing for heavy diesel vehicles, air conditioning services, and the latest OEM diagnostic capabilities. We have also become warranty-authorized service providers for Cummins Engines, International Trucks and Walinga feed systems.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Greet customers, assess service needs, and provide clear recommendations.
- Provide timely updates and respond to customer communications.
- Process payments accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the shift supervisor and technicians for accurate diagnosis and repair estimates.
- Manage service appointments, confirm appointment times, and update the schedule.
- Obtain repair authorizations and ensure invoice aligns with estimate.
- Maintain a clean work area and detailed records of services performed.
- Complete and update yard inspections, understanding the status of all units.
- Develop an understanding of heavy truck systems and provide basic technical assistance.

**Required qualifications**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous Service Advisor experience (1 year preferred)
- Computing skills including use of Microsoft Outlook, Windows, and Internet navigation
- Previous automotive experience is an asset

**Compensation and Benefits**

Pay Range: $60,000 to $90,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses.

**Shift**

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6am - 4:30pm, Friday 6am-6:30pm
