Durham Christian Homes is a not-for-profit, charitable organization, dedicated to serving seniors. We own own and operate two independent senior living buildings as well as two long-term care homes.

This position will work within our independent senior living buildings, specifically Tekoa Manor and Providence Place and is responsible to assist with the cleanliness of these facilities main public areas. This position is expected to maintain good working relations with the residents and staff and should respond to requests within their area of responsibility.

Primary duties include maintaining the cleanliness of our public areas and main offices, which entails mopping, dusting, vacuuming, garbage removal, window washing etc.

Assist with kitchen/dining room service for special occasions, and on an as-needed basis.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous housekeeping experience preferred;
- Ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff
- Ability to work independently
- Strong customer service skills
- Employment will be conditional on receiving a current, clear Police Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening; and upon receiving acceptable proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including the 3rd booster or equivalent.
