Shipper

**Responsibilities**
- Loading-Using a forklift, safely loads finished goods on to trucks for delivery to customer’s jobsite making sure that no damage to finished goods occurs during the loading process.
- Scans tags of ALL bundles and/or components that are loaded on truck to aid in the completion of the bill of lading.
- May need to help driver safely strap down load after loading of finished goods is complete.
- Yard Organization-From time to time, it is necessary to move finished product around the yard in order to maintain a clean and organized yard and to make sure there is adequate space for inbound and outbound trucks to maneuver safely.
- Yard Maintenance-It will be necessary to make sure that the yard is kept clean from debris and dunnage waste. Will also be responsible with guidance from the Shipping Manager for making sure that the portion of the yard used by scrap parts and/or steel (the bone yard) is kept organized and does not pose a danger to personnel that might need to access that area.
- Prepare shipping documents and labels for outgoing shipments
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

**Skills**:

- Experience operating reach trucks or other material handling equipment
- Proficient in loading and unloading materials
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and procedures
- Familiarity with stock management principles
- Understanding of e-commerce order fulfillment processes
- Ability to use MRP systems for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail in picking and packing orders accurately
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Experience with order picking methods and techniques

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
