Vendor Solutions Associate

**Overview**:
Provides Order Management Support for Sales and Vendors, which can include Creation of Quotes, PO to Quote Validation, Special Pricing Approvals validity, Order Placement and Customer Support for order status. Work with the Purchasing Team to ensure order placement is accepted by the Vendor.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required**:
- Performs Creation of Quotes, PO to Quote Validation and Special Pricing Approvals validation or order booking. (35%)
- Engages with Purchasing to ensure orders are accepted by the Vendor. Follow up on ETAs via the Vendor Tools and update Sales or the Customer as needed. (25%)
- Use the reporting tools to check on Intercompany Orders - status (including inventory availability), order holds, and communicating back to the appropriate parties the status on these order. (20%)
- Conducts training and development for team. (10%)
- Implements actions identified by management to resolve business needs. (10%)

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:
- 1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience.
**Education & Certifications**:
- Associate Degree with Business, IT, or related Field of Study preferred.
- High School Graduate with HS Diploma field of study required.
**Working Conditions**:
- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
- May be located at the Mississauga corporate office.
- Professional, office environment.
**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
- Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Able to use a 10-key quickly and accurately.
- Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
