**Description**:
Applicants must have earned a PhD in a relevant field (such as a PhD in Accounting) by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter. Alternatively, applicants must have earned a graduate degree in a relevant field (Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Accounting, Master of Business Administration, Master of Finance, Master of Management and Professional Accounting, Master of Taxation) and have at least three (3) years of professional work experience. A recognized professional accounting designation, with preference for a Canadian designation, is an asset. Relevant fields of study include, but are not limited to: accounting, finance, business administration, taxation, analytics, or other related management disciplines.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

IMI’s MMPA program is aligned with the reshaping of accounting research and education. IMI’s Big Data & Artificial Intelligence Hub (BIGDataAIHUB) focuses on innovation related to the increasing use of digitization, data analytics, and artificial intelligence within organizations. The accounting profession, and the MMPA, are uniquely focused on playing a leading role in the areas of sustainability, sustainability reporting and providing assurance on sustainability disclosures.
