**Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate heavy machinery including loaders, backhoes, excavators, skid steers and other equipment as necessary.
- Execute tasks such as digging along side water mains, houses, gas lines, landscaping, etc.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

**Requirements**:

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Valid commercial driving license preferred.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Smoky Lake, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Heavy equipment operation: 3 years (required)
