Job Summary

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Cooler Order Picker will be responsible for the prompt and accurate assembly of customer orders from the cooler based on product availability. This role will confirm that all orders are accurate and assembled free from defects in a neat presentation. Other responsibilities will include load/unload shipments of incoming supplies and prepare shipments for delivery. The Cooler Order Picker will be required to follow all safe work policies and procedures and work to maintain a clean cooler environment.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist with prompt and accurate assembly of customer orders from the fridge/freezer facilities based on a strong knowledge of product and product availability.
Read work orders, assemble customer orders from stock, and place orders on pallets.
Assists in packing and shrink wrapping.
Prepare orders for shipment and move orders to the staging area for shipment.
Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
Assist in counting of physical inventory and verifying stock and identifying losses.
Wear proper safety equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Basic mathematical skills.
Ability to work in cold temperatures of 0-degree C to 5-degrees C
Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Overtime will be required.
Ability to take initiative, participates in job rotation and willingness to learn.
Punctuality and attendance are important
Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. may be required.
