Logistics Co-ordinator

BEN LINE AGENCIES has been a market leader for the past 199 years is looking for a very ambitious and detailed orientated individual to fill the “Logistics co-ordinator ” position at our office in Butabby BC.
The logistics Co-ordinator will be responsible for providing all types of freight forwarding services to our customers including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipments by Ocean, Air and Ground Freight
- Effectively research rates/negotiate with carriers.
- Ensures proper export/ import documentation is completed to support shipments.
- Timely and accurate administration of documentation, including letters of credit, Certificates of Origin and other documents of trade
- Approve and ensures payment of invoices in timely manners
- Active involvement with resolving issues and problem solving
**Requirements**:
- +3 years experience in the Shipping Industry in North America.
- Outstanding ability to meet deadlines, and to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with vendors, clients, brokers, and transportation companies
- Excellent analytical skills
- Must be highly organized
- Quick learner, motivated to continuously develop and grow
- Flexible, ability to manage change
- Digital Marketing Knowledge is a plus.
