Seamstress /tailor

Our client is looking for seamstresses/ tailors in the GTA area. They are looking for a confident and experienced Seamstress or Tailor to join our team and work in a fun and fast paced environment.

**Location**:Brampton, Vaughan, Etobicoke, Toronto, Cambridge, Mississauga, Markham, Scarborough, Milton, Oakville, Pickering,Hamilton, Oshawa, Guelph

**Responsibilities**:

- Hem Pants, Skirts and Shirts
- Take in Waists and Straps etc
- Add, remove, replace or repair zippers
- Press garments
- Repairs and patching of garments
- Other Alterations as requested
- Accurately measuring customers using tape measures to ensure proper fit of garments.
- Ensuring that sewing machines and other equipment are in good working order.
- Report to the manager

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of sewing experience
- Must have experience using industrial sewing machines
- Good communication skills
- Must be a team player
- Excellent prioritization skills
- Have a positive attitude, be dependable and reliable

**Pay rate**:$17-18

**Shift time**: Morning, starts at 7 am

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sewing: 1 year (preferred)
