**Position Overview**

AVANT’s Club General Manager is a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced leader committed to delivering an upscale experience. You play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of club operations, ensuring the highest levels of member satisfaction, financial performance, and team inspiration. With an innovative vision and a servant leadership style, you combine a strategic mind with a hands-on approach to consistently achieve and exceed excellence.

**As an AVANT Club General Manager, a typical day might include**:

- Most importantly - lead by doing. Getting your hands dirty working **with** your team
- Preparing and reviewing a profit and loss report and looking for opportunities to improve the bottom line
- Being the face of the company in club by touching base with members and addressing any concerns.
- Responding to member communication and solving problems/ providing support in a timely manner.
- Daily check-ins with Functional Leaders to ensure all programs and promotions (in-house and outreach) are tracking positively and yielding results.
- Collaborating with the Leadership Team to ensure uniform communications exist across all departments for all relevant programs and activities.
- Analyzing membership sales and mix, cancellations, Concierge bookings and personal training sales against target goals.
- Conducting interviews in partnership with the department lead to recruit top talent.

**To land this role, you’ll need**:

- A University degree in sports science, recreation or leisure studies, health management, physiology, life sciences, business, management or related field is preferred
- At least 5 + years facility operations experience.
- 5 -7+ years personnel management experience.
- Proven ability to engage, inspire, motivate and lead 200+ team members.
- Success in exceeding individual and team sales goals.
- All management/leadership team members are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR - Level C Certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
- All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
