**Job Description**:
As Assistant Manager, Venue Presentation, you will assist in leading all aspects of housekeeping operations and maintaining a strong focus on delivering an excellent fan experience. You will also be required to assist the Manager, Housekeeping and ensure tasks are performed in accordance with the highest standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Manager, Housekeeping with overseeing Housekeeping operations.
- Participate in the planning, coordinating and directing of team members to ensure the highest degree of fan satisfaction and adherence to our Elevate program.
- Operate within departmental budgets through efficient labour utilization and management of effective stock and cost control.
- Support departmental targets, objectives and budgets while promoting compliance with policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for the appearance, work standards and performance of the Housekeeping team, emphasizing training, mentorship and teamwork.
- Demonstrate transparent and active leadership; mentor, motivate and empower the housekeeping supervisory team and staff, assign responsibilities and take corrective action, when needed, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist Manager, Housekeeping with maintaining good communication and work relationships with all departments and teams, venues, external customers and suppliers.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new employees to ensure that all employees are engaged and have the vital skills, departmental orientation, training, tools, information and support to enable the delivery of services.
- Ensure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes are generated.
- Assist other departments as needed.

**Qualifications**:
- Proven housekeeping and managerial experience
- Knowledgable with computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership, supervisory and decision-making skills
- A high level of commercial awareness and cost-control capabilities
- Outstanding time management, interpersonal, problem resolution, and verbal/written communication skills
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Ability to work under pressure and adjust to situations as they occur
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Familiar with property management systems
- Experience leading a department and profit and loss account
- Previous experience in a unionized work environment
