General Labourer

**Job Overview**

We’re looking for dependable and hard-working **General Labourers** to join our growing operations team. This is a hands-on, mobile role that involves working at different sites throughout the Ottawa area — from festivals and parades to construction zones and road closures.

**Work typically begins in mid to late May**, with most shifts scheduled around special events and project needs. You’ll be supporting event setups, managing equipment, and helping ensure public safety.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Set up and take down temporary fencing, barriers, and signage
- Support road closures and traffic control setups
- Assist with crowd and vehicle management during events
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Follow safety procedures and site protocols
- Report hazards or equipment issues to supervisors
- Represent ARX professionally with clients and the public

**What You’ll Need**
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Steel-toe boots (mandatory)
- Availability for flexible shifts (including weekends, holidays, and nights)
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel from site to site across Ottawa
- Previous general labor experience is an asset but not required
