**Position Overview**:
The Demolition/General Field Manager will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our demolition projects. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure all project activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the project's scope and timeline.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Schedule Management**: Coordinate and schedule demolition laborers to ensure adherence to project timelines.
- **Equipment Coordination**: Ensure crews are equipped with the necessary tools and equipment for their assigned projects.
- **Project Kickoffs**: Lead project kickoffs, providing crews with detailed, written copies of project scopes.
- **Project Walkthroughs**: Conduct comprehensive walkthroughs with supervisors to ensure a clear understanding of the work to be performed.
- **Sequence of Events**: Develop and provide crews with a sequence of events to ensure proficient project execution.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate potential dangers, risks, and liabilities on active job sites.
- **Safety Meetings**: Ensure supervisors hold safety briefings with their crews, covering the project scope, potential dangers, risks, liabilities, and the next day's work.
- **Communication**: Establish and maintain consistent and open communication with contractors.
- **Project Completion**: Perform thorough project completion walkthroughs to ensure all work meets specifications.
- **Timeline Management**: Provide accurate timelines for project completion and conduct weekly meetings with management to report on project progress.
- **Training**: Provide ongoing training to supervisors and team leads, fostering clear career path progression to supervisory roles.
- **Troubleshooting**: Address and resolve site issues promptly and effectively.
- **Vendor Management**: Maintain an updated list of vendors and tradespeople to handle potential damages efficiently.
- **Daily Summary**: Provide detailed daily summaries of completed duties.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
- **Team Communication**: Maintain an open line of communication with all active teams.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Demolition/General Field Manager or similar role.
- Possession of a full G license with a clean driving record.
- Extensive experience managing demolition (residential, commercial), underpinning, and excavation projects.
- Strong command of the English language (written and oral).
- High degree of proficiency in Spanish.
- Demonstrated track record of on-time project completions.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication abilities with team members, supervisors, and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
