Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Returns Associate for our 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, Ontario Giant Tiger can offer paid training and certification on brand new Raymond equipment, cross training and mentorship in various warehouse departments, full medical and dental benefits, a store discount, and 24/7 onsite gym access.

Highlights- Work closely with Buyers and Suppliers to expedite returns in a cost effective manner- Initiate the return of merchandise from Giant Tiger stores to suppliers in a timely manner focusing on inventory investment- Follow security procedures when destroying approved merchandise.- Assist in the claims process.- Assist the Office team in processing transfers in an efficient manner.

Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recording and tracking of inventory.- Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address inventory-related issues.- Time Management: Efficient time management to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in workflow and prioritize tasks based on business needs.- Physical Stamina: Able to lift 50 pounds consistently through shift- Comply with GTW’s policies and procedures as well as OSHA and MSDS Standards- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.- Perform related work as required by Supervisor- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Assets- 2 years’ + experience in a variety of warehouse functions.-
- Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System experience

Schedule - Sunday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
