**Summary**

Under the responsibility of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

**Shifts**: 7:00pm to 7:30am, Friday to Sunday.

**Wage**: $22.75 per hour + $3.00 per hour night shift premium

**Job Type**: Full-time, perm

**Responsibilities**
- Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
- Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
- Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, loading, and unloading of trucks.
- Responsible of dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
- Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production **.**:

- Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- H.S. diploma/GED required.
- More than one (1) year experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment required.
- One (1) year or more experience in the operation of a forklift required.
- One (1) year or more familiarization with automated warehouse management system is an asset (PKMS) required.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Able to work within a diverse work environment.
- Highly thorough and dependable.
- Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.

Responsabilités:

- Exécuter des fonctions relatives au travail d'entrepôt, qui peuvent inclure charger, cueillir, emballer, expédier, recevoir, conduire un chariot élévateur et faire l’inventaire cyclique
- Exécuter les tâches selon les directives du contrat
- Responsable de la cueillette et l'emballage des produits avec précision, de la mise en place des produits, du chargement et déchargement des camions
- Fournir un soutien technique ainsi qu’un soutien à l'entretien pour les différents aspects relatifs au système automatisé d’emballage durant les horaires de base de la production
- Doit être en mesure d’administrer certains documents administratifs quotidiens d’entrepôt (feuille de cueillette, bordereaux de livraison, etc.)

Responsabilités Supplémentaires:

- Doit être disponible pour travailler selon un horaire flexible sur les différents quarts de travail

Exigences:

- Diplôme général d'études secondaires (Exigé)
- 3 ans ou d’expérience dans un entrepôt au rythme soutenu (Exigé)
- 1 an ou d’expérience dans la conduite de chariots élévateurs (Exigé)
- 3 ans ou d'expérience dans le dépannage de systèmes automatisés (Exigé)
- 3 ans ou d'expérience en mécanique ou électricité (Exigé)
- 3 ans ou d'expérience avec un système automatisé de ceuillette et d'emballage (Exigé)
