**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and order picking.
- Perform routine inspections on forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an advantage.
- Strong order picking skills with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds).
- Mechanical knowledge of forklifts and material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
