**Description**:
The Dishwasher is an essential position on the BOH team whose focus is directed toward the organization and cleanliness of key areas of the kitchen. This position assists the culinary team in various food preparation tasks that allow them to learn and develop the skills necessary to grow and develop within the BOH Team.

**Competencies and Responsibilities**:
**Taskwork**:

- Ensure the dish area and all storage areas of the kitchen are kept organized and clean throughout the shift.
- Adhere to assigned daily and weekly cleaning checklists as directed by the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
- Operate all dishwashing equipment to ensure the appropriate sanitization of plateware, glassware and smallware for the guests to use in the safe consumption of our food and beverage items.
- Assist the BOH team in the accurate receiving of orders.
- Assist the BOH team with some food preparation tasks as trained by the Sous Chef and

Head Chef.

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in a dishwashing role is an asset (not required).
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand and work on foot for 8 hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Part-time hours**: 40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
