**Job Title**: Heavy Duty Cleaner

**Location**: Downtown, Vancouver

**Shift**: Monday to Friday 5pm - 10pm

**Wage**: $18.28/hr

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space This is a part-time opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Sweeping, mopping kitchen, lobby and washroom floors
- Exterior cleaning duties
- Clean stairwells, parkade, exterior water fountain
- Perform work orders assigned to their floors
- Collect and dispose trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
- Stripping and waxing procedures on hard surface flooring
- Pressure Washing
- Carpet Cleaning
- Operation of equipment - Auto scrubber, vacuums, leaf blowers, swing machines, carpet cleaner/extractors, etc.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the site supervisor or manager

**You have**:

- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting
- Stripping and waxing experience is a requirement
- Previous experience with the following equipment: Auto scrubbers, leaf blowers, swing machines, carpet cleaner/extractors.
- The ability to obtain a background or security clearance
- Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
- A willingness to work and learn
