TRUCK & TRAILER SERVICE TECHNICIAN

64 LANCASTER CRES DEBERT, NOVA SCOTIA

We are seeking a Full-Time Permanent Truck and Trailer Service Technician to join our team at our Distribution Center

Perform work as assigned on work orders with efficiency, safety, and accuracy in accordance with shop, and regulatory standards. Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair resolution.

Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as required meeting deadlines as scheduled.

Perform and complete maintenance & mechanical services for assigned equipment including Vehicle defect reports & scheduled maintenance.

Attributes include:

- Good problem solving, trouble shooting and communication skills.
- Maintain timely accurate records of work performed.
- Participate in and complete online and off-site training as requested by management within deadlines presented.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills verbal, written and computer.
- Able to read and understand operating manuals and technical drawings.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Apprentice, licensed or verifiable Truck & Trailer Technician
- Must maintain any applicable certifications.
- Valid driver's license
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
- Commercial grade technician tools

Salary to reflect qualifications and experience.
