**Who are we looking for?**
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and caring Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) instructor who is passionate about teaching and adopts a customer-centered approach to working with domestic and international learners. Our future instructors are patient and understanding, and bring a high level of commitment to excellence and integrity in teaching and learning.
**Responsibilities**:
- Commit to inspiring students’ intellectual potential to develop a passion for lifelong learning
- Support student academic success and learning skill development
- Deliver the curriculum as per the course syllabus including theoretical and practical training
- Develop and prepare various teaching methods appropriate for the various course topics
- Prepare, administer and grade evaluation criteria to assess student progress
- Ensure and enforce student code of conduct and regulations that must be followed in the classroom
- Attend meetings with the management to share and receive feedback
- Maintain accurate attendance and evaluation records
- Actively contribute to curriculum improvement and instructional effectiveness assessment
- Keep on acquiring and updating knowledge as helping others develop
- Ability to adapt course content in accordance with student’s interests and future experiences.
**Requirements**:
- A Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minimum of 5 years current working experience as an Early Childhood Educator and current membership in the provincial association for Early Childhood Educators.
- Having some formal training and/or experience in teaching adults in an educational setting is an asset.
- Foreign trained professionals must have their credentials translated into Canadian terms and must be equivalent to the Canadian trained standards. Membership in the provincial association for Early Childhood Educators is required and work experience as an Early Childhood Educator remains the same as above.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift

- Early childhood education: 5 years (required)
