Area Counsellor - Elementary

Area Counsellors in the Richmond School District will work in a proactive manner with K-7 students and their families to support success in student academic and social emotional development and will have a knowledge of, and ability to access, outside agency support. The applicant must also be able to articulate strategies for dealing with a diverse set of students with varying learner profiles and be able to work closely with administrators and resource teachers to ensure that appropriate support structures are in place. Support of the District's various initiatives and directions (PBIS, **_erase_**, SOGI, Mindfulness, EASE, etc.) is expected.
