**Job Summary**:
Dakota Dunes Hotel is seeking a vigilant and professional **Security Officer** to ensure the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property. The Security Officer will be responsible for monitoring hotel premises, responding to incidents, and enforcing hotel policies to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor hotel premises, including entrances, hallways, and parking areas, to prevent and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct routine patrols to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, disturbances, and unauthorized access.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures, including guest and employee conduct regulations.
- Assist in managing access control, including checking identification and monitoring surveillance systems.
- Write detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and any irregularities.
- Provide customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and offering directions when necessary.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Assist with lost and found items and maintain proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency response protocols.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid Saskatchewan Security Guard License (or ability to obtain one).
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
