**About the Position**:
ATS Traffic is currently looking for a Traffic Control Manager to act as lead for the Traffic Control, Dispatch and Rental departments in the Ottawa branch This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as act as an intermediary between the Sales, Estimating & Solutions teams with regards to quoting, drafting and projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with Traffic Control Supervisors to ensure seamless communication between office and field activities
- Continuous monitoring of traffic control schedule through dispatch, stay informed of daily activities and events
- Ensure field crew has appropriate training and applicable certificates are maintained
- Delegate work and assignments to dispatch, coordinators, and field staff as required
- Participate in industry related seminars, meetings and training to ensure ATS is following up-to-date best practices
- Quote and follow up on all projects for traffic control
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner
- Responsible for recruitment, scheduling, performance management, policy adherence and training to maintain a cohesive team
- Ensure LEAN and 6S (Six Sigma) are being executed by your team on a daily basis

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 Non-GDL Drivers License or better and clean 3-Year Drivers Abstract is required.
- Traffic Control certifications preferred.
- Ability to undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening and Fit Test. *Note: As this is a safety-sensitive position there is a zero tolerance policy for use of medical or recreational marijuana.
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
- Previous project management experience.
- Previous experience in a LEAN/6S environment is a bonus
