We are currently hiring for a part time server/deli clerk who is available evenings and weekends.

The server will be responsible for providing high level customer service to the café guests by providing prompt service, taking accurate orders, and maintaining a working knowledge of the menu and all aspects of the café. The server will perform customer service duties in a friendly and professional manner at all times and make sure that the guests have a enjoyable experience. Other duties include but not limited to setting the table, dealing with the deli counter, removing used dishes and place settings, packaging meals and food, and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Job Duties
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and ensure these are given to the appropriate guest
- Maintain familiarity with the food and coffee menu, premade meals, and deli products.
- Serve the food and beverage in a professional, courteous manner
- Keeping the café and deli counter in a clean state during your shift
- Clean and refill any condiment containers.
- Ensure that the guests are correctly charged, present the bill, and take payment from the guest.
- At all times, be aware of and practice exceptional guest services, by assisting the guest in any way possible.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures and be familiar with emergency procedures.
- Slice and package deli meats as requested by the customer
- Assist in production of sandwiches, salads, simple kitchen prep sometimes needed
- Any other duties assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- 2-3 years of restaurant/café/food experience
- Highly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to effectively work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to deal with people, through professionalism, tact, and sensitivity
- Professional appearance
- Strong work ethic
- Fun demeanor

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $14.00-$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evenings
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Tips

Licence/Certification:
