Forestry Labourer

**Job Summary**
We are seeking entry-level Forestry Labourers to assist with clearing, slashing, and forestry operations in remote and outdoor environments. This is a hands-on role that involves supporting equipment operators, maintaining work areas, and performing general labour tasks.

No experience is required—we provide training. As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to learn how to operate specialized forestry equipment such as mulchers, skid steers, and dozers, with the potential to advance into higher roles within the company.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist equipment operators with forestry clearing, slashing, and vegetation management work
- Load, move, and organize materials and tools on job sites
- Use hand tools under supervision
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
- Participate in training and development opportunities
- Perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor, rugged environments in all weather conditions

**Requirements**:

- Valid class 5 driver license
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to work away from home for periods of several weeks if needed

**Nice to Have**
- Current First Aid
- Experience using a chainsaw and other tools
- Safety tickets (TDG, H2S, WHMIS, etc)
- Experience with off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, etc

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

- French not required

- 10 hour shift
