**Overview**
**Duties**
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that merchandise is displayed effectively.
- Assist with merchandising tasks, including restocking shelves and organizing product displays.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits of items for sale.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality interactions with customers.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with customers.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with technology sales or technical sales is beneficial for understanding product features during customer interactions.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
