**How You'll Perform the Role**
- Set-up, run and make adjustments to the machine as needed
- Operate bag machine at the prescribed production rate
- Read and understand the work order instructions
- Load and unload rolls of paper onto machine
- Assemble boxes and affix labels on them
- Package and/or shrink wrap bundles of paper into boxes (repetitive bending motion)
- Load boxes (up to 50 lbs) onto pallet
- The operator is responsible for using all necessary safety equipment and following all safety-related tasks
- Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately in a timely manner
- Observe all policies: GMP, food security (SQF) and any other company guidelines and regulations.
- Follow the master cleaning schedule, sanitation, and hygiene procedures including daily superficial cleaning
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S in own work area and around work units

**What We Need From You**
- Must be able to distinguish the different colors and have good colour judgement.
- Previous experience as a machine operator is an asset but training is provided
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read a measuring tape
- Team player with multi-tasking abilities
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Able to work steady night shift on a 12 hour continental schedule but is flexible
