Job description

Golden Door Geriatric Centre is currently recruiting for the position of Part-time Dietary Aide. We strive to provide the highest quality of care to all of our residents. To that end, we depend on the skills and compassionate caring of individuals in a variety of disciplines including our Food Services Department.

**Requirements**:

- Meal service and cleaning duties that are resident focused, maintaining a home-like environment.
- Physical and mental health to meet position demands. Ability to lift up to and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Have minimum 1-year experience in Health Care Facility with knowledge of therapeutic diets is considered an asset.
- Possess valid Food Handling Certificate or obtain same within six months of hire.
- Criminal record check, adult abuse check and child abuse check to be completed within 1 month of hire.
- Must have good work and attendance record in the present position.
