Support Worker for Spruce Grove or Stony Plain Area

**Job Description Summary**
The Support worker is a caring and compassionate member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide personal care.
- Companionship
- Identify and participate in performance improvement activities.
- Assist in providing a safe environment and promote quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures and standards.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience as a caregiver/support worker
- Certified in CPR Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Driver's license in good standing with access to a reliable automobile
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (completed in the last 3 months)
- Access to a computer and cell phone Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills in English
- Treat clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and present a positive public image
- Ensure confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: From $17.00 per hour

- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
