**The** Materials Handler **is based on site in Ottawa, ON**. **Siemens Healthineers Ottawa (SHS Ottawa) is a leading manufacturer of a clinical Point of Care (POC) diagnostic product. The epoc© Blood Analysis System is healthcare’s first cost-effective POC testing solution to leverage Smartcard Technology and wireless communication to provide caregivers with real-time, lab-quality blood gas, electrolyte, and metabolite results at the patient bedside. Under the supervision of the Team Lead, Warehousing, the Material Handler is responsible for the receipt of materials and other goods and recording in ERP-System (SAP). The Materials Handler will also have the opportunity to bring their creativity and participate in warehouse improvements.

As the **Materials Handler**, your responsibilities will include:

- Receiving/recording materials and other goods in SAP
- Stocking and putting away materials
- Pulling of materials from warehouse shelves
- Packing of outbound shipments
- Preparing paperwork and transaction recording for outbound shipments
- Stocking of Kanban bins
- Transferring materials in warehouse area
- Recording of all inventory transaction in ERP-system
- Completing cycle counts of materials

As a successful **Materials Handler** you will have:

- High-school diploma (preferred)
- Minimal experience with integrated ERP-systems (SAP preferred, Oracle/JDE or other acceptable)
- Some knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Willing to work weekends
- Ability to lift 30lbs and walk extended distances daily
