We are looking for a skilled pizza maker to prepare high-quality pizzas according to customers’ orders. The pizza maker’s responsibilities include preparing pizza dough, cutting, grating, or slicing various ingredients, and removing pizza debris from the pizza ovens. You should also be able to maintain a clean workstation at all times. You will also be asked to take phone call orders, which means having to eventually learn the full menu/deals. We will be providing training on how to work our POS system, previous knowledge in working registers would be helpful.

To be successful as a pizza maker, you should ensure that kitchen safety protocol is properly followed. Ultimately, a top-notch employee should be able to train and mentor kitchen staff.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings, such as tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, green & red peppers and meats.
- Making high-quality pizzas according to the company recipes.
- Monitoring inventory and placing orders for more supplies as needed.
- Cleaning workstations before and after pizza preparation.
- Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use.
- Packaging pizzas accordingly.
- Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform cleaning duties.
- Take calls and place orders through the phone and in real life
- Interact with customers and perform payment of the orders placed
- Work the POS system

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED.
- Working knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- The ability to follow standardized recipes.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a team.
- Should be able to lift minimum 50 lb. weight.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to communicate and take calls and take orders.
- Exceptional customer service skills.

**Experience (At least one of the listed points needs to be met)**
- Previous fast food industry worker
- Capable of taking orders in a clear manner
- Have interacted with customers or taken phone orders before

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.15-$15.30 per hour
