**Full Job Description**

Looking for an **experienced Sheetfed Offset Printing Press Operator**to join our team as soon as possible to do the following:
**Job Duties**
- 3 to 5+ years experience on a 4 colour press, multi-color offset printing in a high quality environment
- Experience in operating SM74-6-P+LX or equivalent 4 colour press with inline aqueous coating press and CPC2000 Console
- Review job orders to determine job specifications such as production time, sequence and quantities required
- Fill ink fountains and take measurements, make adjustments and determine settings to control color and viscosity.
- Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments.
- Set up press and check samples for ink coverage, alignment and registration.
- Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run.
- Monitor regular press runs for quality and consistency using computer control console and make adjustments as required.
- Ensure that all quality and safety procedures are adhered to.
- Performs in process inspection while running job
- Notify supervisor of defect trends and nonconforming quality
- Reads and follows job tickets instructions
- Performs any special project as assigned by management
- Clean up work area and perform press maintenance as required.

**Job Requirement**
- Completion of Secondary school
- Completion of College program or courses in printing technology or a combination of on-the -job training and specialized high school, college or industry courses in printing.
- At least 3 to 5 year experience in the field.
- Math skills
- Communication skills
- Organized and accountable
- Detail-oriented

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract, Freelance

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
