PopReach is seeking a mobile game QA Tester to join our QA team. You will test our upcoming mobile game Payday and work with the development teams to track bugs and ensure we ship a high-quality game. This role is a unique opportunity to help bring the popular Payday shooter franchise to mobile for the first time Regularly in the top 15 games played on Steam, Payday is beloved by millions of people around the world.
What You'll Do:
- Thoroughly test our new products/updates currently in development while logging and tracking any bugs found.
- Understand the basic functionality of iOS / Android devices and troubleshoot the most common issues.
- Carry out technical requirements testing for both iOS and Android platforms to ensure on-time submissions.
- Ability to think of ‘outside of the box’ testing methods to ensure a high-quality end-user experience.
- Adapt to a fast-changing development environment and be able to multitask with several software tools daily.
- Provide constructive quality gameplay feedback to the development teams.
- Partner with Customer Support teams, Developers, and Project Managers on Payday to reach common goals.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 1-2 years of game experience in Quality Assurance - mobile gaming testing experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of what it means to work in an agile environment including adaptability as changes occur.
- Technologically savvy, with a passion for gaming and familiarity with the mobile gaming market.
- Familiar with using bug tracking software (JIRA, etc).
- Experience using Windows and Word Processing programs (MS Office, Google Docs, etc.).
- Knowledge & upkeep of structured Test Case systems
- Ability to be thorough and follow-up on game issues with other QA testers, Managers, and/or the Development Teams.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn in a quickly evolving industry.
- A good team player with a positive attitude, who is a very strong independent worker.
