The Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for co-implementing lean manufacturing and maintaining continuous improvement activities. He/she will be responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement and KPIs across production. Improving the outcomes of various processes so that, by mapping all the inputs and outputs of a defined business process, one will be able to recommend ways to improve efficiency, reduce cost and increase customer satisfaction.

**Main responsibilities.**
- Lead and monitor continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Participate and lead Kaizen workshops to solve a problem and implement solutions by involving team members.
- Propose durable improvements to the equipment with a view to increasing their operational performance in line with set objectives.
- Assess critical tasks and develop SOPs for the Production team.
- Implement a skill matrix and provide direction on training.
- Optimize and review production processes (standard time, timekeeping etc.)
- Participate in the implementation of the 5S Organize training workshops.
- Monitor finished product quality, compliance and GMP
- Ensure line productivity through a close follow-up of the operational performance.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team corrective actions.
- Tackle other tasks, as required.

**Profile**
- Bachelors in Engineer or in Supply Chain Management with the knowledge in Toyota Production System, Six Sigma and Kanban techniques or any relevant combination of formal education and training will be considered
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant position including continuous improvement
- Experience acquired in the food industry, asset.
- Proficiency in English and French
- Knowledge of planning tools with advanced proficiency with systems and ERP (SAP Business One)
- Good communication skills and strong persuasive and collaborative skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Results-oriented, analytical, and organized
- **Physical mobility**: the incumbent will be required to walk up and down stairs, work in a seated position for extended periods of time, be able to pull and lift objects weighing up to 10Kg.

Hours
- 8am to 4 pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
