As our Crude Oil Quality Analyst you will be responsible for responsible for supporting all SECURE quality systems to ensure fair and accurate data is obtained for use by other SECURE functional groups. This includes those responsible for master quality database, blend plans, WADF reporting, lab management, quality anomaly correction and auditing.

This role is based out of **Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta**

**The Team**

The Crude Oil Quality Analyst will work closely with various teams, including Measurement, Logistics, Volumetric Accounting, Crude Oil Marketing, and Operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments to maintain and enhance SECURE’s quality systems_. _

**Work Environment**

**A Day in The Life**
- Maintenance and distribution of SECURE’s “Quality Compliance Plan” (QCP) in accordance with industry regulations and specifications.
- Provide support for all field quality reps and field requests
- Support corrective actions in the event of non-compliance and off-spec issues.
- Determine root cause and corrective actions with mínimal supervision in regards to quality anomalies, customer or intercompany inquiries.
- Support quality system audits of customer sites or customer-related internal inspections when required.
- Work with the Measurement, Logistics, Volumetric Accounting, Crude Oil Marketing and Operations teams.
- Support project managers as a key stakeholder anytime quality systems are involved.
- Provide field-level quality direction as required. i.e., analytics, calculations, troubleshooting, etc.
- Assist with facility blend plans and weekly meetings with facilities to support outbound quality specs
- Assist with the calculation of month-end offloads qualities. Distribute to applicable stakeholders.
- Assist with all sampling requests
- Management of all SECURE sampling schematics and plans, including re-drafting edits as needed.
- Identify and manage critical KPIs related to total blend profits.
- Continuously strive in a high-energy environment for improvement initiatives.

**Skills, Experience, & Qualifications**
- A high-energy team player.
- Lab Technician and/or engineering degree considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, Measurement Schematics, and other engineering drawings is an asset.
- Knowledge of pipeline specifications and specific quality parameters
- Ability to work independently and initiate multiple priorities with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Confident, highly motivated and determined with strong professional sense.
- Detail-oriented and demonstrated interpersonal, time management and organization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to interface with multiple facility managers and act as a key support role.
- Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to defined goals.
- Active H2S & First aid certifications
- Must be willing to travel in Canada and the United States
