Packaging Operator

**Overview**
**Responsibilities may include**:
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment to prepare products for shipment.
- Assemble product components using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Monitor production lines for quality control, ensuring that all products meet specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment as needed, troubleshooting mechanical issues when they arise.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Clean grease totes as required
- Potential shift work required

**Experience**
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus, along with any relevant certifications.
- Ability to work effectively, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Strong focus on HSSE and commitment to quality; be able to understand the impacts on the business.
- Experience in assembly and packaging processes will be highly regarded.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite an asset.

Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
