Dance Teacher

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Teach dance classes to children, focusing on technique, creativity, and expression.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups.
- Create a safe and encouraging environment for students to learn and grow.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Organize and participate in recitals, performances, and other dance-related events.
- Collaborate with other instructors to ensure a cohesive curriculum.
- Maintain classroom discipline while promoting a fun learning experience.
- Engage with parents to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in early childhood education or tutoring is highly desirable.
- Strong background in dance with the ability to teach various styles.
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young dancers.
- A nurturing attitude with a passion for educating children through dance.
- Ability to cook or prepare simple snacks for students during breaks is a plus.
- Must be patient, creative, and adaptable to meet the needs of diverse learners.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 8 per week
