**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Executive Director, and working collaboratively with the PM Staff, the Program Services Coordinator is responsible for:
1. Coordinating the annual Provincial Palliative Care Conference, including coordination of volunteers (1/year)

2. Coordinating and facilitating the Lunch and Learn series (4/year)

3. Coordinating and overseeing the Memory Tree, including coordination of volunteers (month of December)

4. Planning the Light the Memories Event (Spring 2025)

5. Responding to telephone and onsite inquiries regarding end-of-life and bereavement services on an ongoing basis

6. Supporting Palliative Manitoba events

**Duties**
- Lead project management efforts by planning, executing, and monitoring program activities to meet established goals.
- Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Recruit participants and volunteers for programs while marketing initiatives to enhance community involvement.
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and preparing reports on program outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to align program objectives with organizational goals.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in supervising teams or leading projects.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in data collection and analysis to inform decision-making processes.
- Excellent public speaking abilities to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with recruiting strategies and community engagement practices.
- Administrative experience that demonstrates attention to detail and organizational skills.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Work Location: In person
