Position Overview:
Work Site Environment:

- Outdoor work in all weather conditions (hot, dusty, noisy)
- Work in urban and rural areas, private residences, and commercial sites
- Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and tight deadlines

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with landscape construction and maintenance
- Cart and spread topsoil, gravel, rock and other materials
- Lay sod, plant shrubs, and trees
- Build and maintain stone walls, interlocking brick, poured concrete, and decorative features
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (e.g., skidsteer, small engine tools, irrigation systems)
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working with hand tools

Qualifications:

- GED or Grade 12 diploma
- Criminal Record Check
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs or more
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
- Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Able to learn hands on and follow instructions closely
- Previous landscaping or concrete experience is considered an asset

Preferred Experience:

- Residential landscaping or construction experience
- Experience with fieldstone paths, retaining walls, rock gardens etc
- Ability to operate skidsteers or other landscape machinery
- Driver’s license and clean driving record

Transportation & Availability:

- Valid driver’s license required
- Own transportation to Shop
- Willing to travel to various work sites regularly
- Available to work flexible hours including some weekends
