**The role**:

- Nightly preoperational inspection in two RTE production environments to verify and release the site for the next production day
- Perform HACCP record reviews and direct observations
- Performs plant sanitation verifications
- Plan and complete ATP and environmental swabbing to meet our sanitation effectiveness programs
- Assists with sanitation continuous improvement projects
- Tracking and trending sanitation related data and presentation of findings to TON management
- Support the Sanitation Team with investigations and continuous improvement of our sanitation related SOPs
- Provide support and guidance to Sanitation Supervisor and sanitation crew applicable to food safety related items
- Review and approve product and package staging in preparation for following day Operations
- Undertake calibration verifications of key in-process equipment such as X-Rays in preparation for production start-up
- Assures Food Safety, Regulatory and Company Compliance
- Assists with internal sanitation, GMP and Food Safety audits, and 2nd and 3rd party audits to customer and GFSI standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

**You offer**:

- At least three years experience in verifying an effectiveness of plant sanitation.
- Practical experience in conducting training.
- Sound practical knowledge of food processing facility cleaning and sanitation methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience in the use of ATP equipment and monitoring techniques.

- Strong knowledge of food plant cleaning and sanitation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize based on risk and need
- Excellent attendance and work record
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to effectively influence others
- Trained in root cause analysis with demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Able to interact effectively with all levels of Management
- Proven ability to speak, read and write in English
- Able to work independently with limited Supervision
- Knowledgeable of Workplace Safety Rules
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and have proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
