**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Generator Technician with experience in PM maintenance services, Load Bank testing, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues on generators we service in our area. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, a customer-oriented mindset and the understanding to work additional hours as needed as we offer emergency service to our customers.

**Duties**
- Complete inspections and testing of Generators
- Perform Generator diagnostics, PM maintenance & repairs as assigned
- Diagnose/troubleshoot customer complaints to find the source of the problem(s) and repair as required
- Diagnosing and Repairing Diesel and Natural Gas/Propane engines as well as Alternator, Transfer Switch, Controller issues and performing Load Bank testing on commercial units.
- Delivery and commissioning of new equipment (placement, set up, programming)
- Perform warranty repairs
- Assist with sourcing parts as needed
- Ensure overall cleanliness of the shop and service truck
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
- Submitting daily reports/inspection sheets at end of work day
- Travel primarily in Southwestern Ontario daily
- Occasional travel across Ontario
- Willing to work an average 44-50 hrs. per/week, plus extra time when needed.

**Experience**
- Mechanical: 5 years + (preferred)
- Field Service

**Qualifications**
- Class G License (required)

**Considered an asset**
- Gas technician G1 or G2
- 310S, 310T
- Licensed Electrician
- Experience working as a military EGS (emergency generator systems) Technician
- Provincially licensed and/or certified Tradesperson

- When needed weekends/afterhours/Emergency service

**Additional pay**:

- Overtime pay

**Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour**
