**PURPOSE**:
Under the direction of the Regional General Manager, Ontario FBOs, and working closely with the Fixed Based Operations (FBO) management team including Skyservice’s Finance team, the Business Analyst will support FBO Operations with a solid financial background and business acumen that facilitates financial reporting and analysis to drive improved FBO performance and business growth.

**SUMMARY OF RESPONSBILITIES**:

- Assesses FBO Performance through the preparation of value-added management reports and dashboards including but not limited to research and collection of information, data analysis, project management, SMS occurrence report analysis, and financial reporting;
- Conducts ongoing and timely FBO key performance analysis for multiple locations;
- Drives a continuous improvement mindset with respect to key performance indicators for the FBO’s.
- Participates in the development of FBO revenue and operating budgets along with the development of periodic financial forecasts and associated trend analysis;
- Performs Industry competitive analysis to improve overall FBO performance and competitiveness. This includes collecting real time data on aircraft fuel pricing, hangar/ramp lease rates and other FBO fees at airports throughout North America;
- Conducts root-cause analysis to identify and gain insights into critical financial issues and communicates potential solutions to senior management;
- Coordinates the collection of information from internal and external sources to perform and present analysis in support of FBO’s;
- Schedules and completes reviews on a timely basis, with a view to identifying process improvements for the overall review process;
- Conducts complex feasibility analysis for inclusion into business cases related to new business development opportunities;
- Provides tactical planning support for the Regional General Manager to clearly define the scope of projects including setting the approach, establishing timelines and end to end project coordination;
- Other duties as needed or required.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- 3 to 5 years experience in a business/financial analyst role;
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred, or experience in a related field. CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation an asset;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly in Excel, and Power BI. Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems is highly valued;
- Prior experience with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to build Power BI models that support dashboard visualizations;
- Proven experience with budget preparation and financial forecasting;
- Strong research and financial analysis skills;
- Demonstrates adaptability, is accountable and drives for results with a sense of urgency;
- Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively and confidently communicate with clarity to all levels within the organization;
- A confident self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently and interact with confidential information while developing strong relationships;
- Bilingualism in English and French (spoken and written) is an asset.
