**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive project estimates.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam to streamline the estimating process if preferred.
- Collaborate with project managers, customers, superiors and engineers to understand project requirements and scope.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members throughout the estimating and project management process.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field 10 Years experience preferred.
- Understanding, knowledge and proficiency in Civil construction and Rail work would be an asset.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction processes.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of IHSA COR Program an Asset.
- Knowledge of Risk Assessments and Construction Safety an asset

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
