**Job Description** A Day in the Life**:
Key accountabilities of the Cold Storage Specialist are:

- Shipping and receiving
- Keep neat, detailed, and accurate records including computerized record keeping systems and data entry.
- Monitor stock quality and inventory
- Thaw stock prior to shipping
- Keep crop and materials inventory.
- Assist with crop irrigation and measuring.
- Communicate and build relationships with customers and PRT CSR’s
- Assist with other nursery activities such as quality control of sowing and lift.

**About the team**:
The Cold Storage Specialist will work alongside Nursery Workers and will report directly to the Nursery Manager.
**Qualifications** Enough about us, let’s talk about you**:
Required/Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

- Valid Driver’s License and a valid certification for operating power mobile equipment. (i.e., Forklift, Skid Steer) *_if not currently certified, must have the ability to acquire certification upon hiring. _
- Level 1 or 2 First Aid certificate
- Appropriate work attire
- Great organizational, record keeping and attention to details skills
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to stay calm and think under pressure
- Professional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented personality with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Commitment to quality and safety
