**Job description**
- Workers will be trained to remove hazardous materials (mainly mold and asbestos) from residential and commercial buildings in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.
- Workers that do not have their asbestos worker ticket will be provided with onsite training in asbestos removal and an online asbestos course.
- Workers will be responsible for the removal and disposal of hazardous waste under the supervision of a certified high risk asbestos abatement technician.
- Workers will be scheduled as a general labor when not on abatement.
- Workers will be responsible for cleaning company equipment and cleaning up customer worksites.

**Required**
- Driver's License
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Criminal record check required for successful applicants
- Must be able to perform physically demanding jobs (must be able to safely lift 50 pounds)
- Be able to take and accurately follow instructions
- Ability to work well with others and alone
- Respect the privacy of clients, their property, and their homes
- A willingness to work in crawl spaces, attics, indoors and outside
- CSA-approved steel-toe boots are required, all other personal protective equipment is provided by the company

**Preferred**
- Construction: 1 year
- Asbestos remediation experience
- Experience with basic hand tools, in renovation, and in controlled demolition

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 48 per week
