The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, bread, and other baked goods, ensuring that all products are of high quality, fresh, and meet our customers' expectations. While baking experience is not required, a passion for baking is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, bread, and other baked goods
- Mix and measure ingredients, using a variety of kitchen tools and equipment
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste of products
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized to maintain a safe and sanitary working environment
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure all orders are completed on time
- Monitor inventory and place orders for supplies as needed
- Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed

**Requirements**:

- Experience and/or passion for baking is preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work early mornings, beginning at 5:15 am
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M6H 3Y9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
